1. Use a thick, dense emollient cream on your hands and feet. Cold winter winds and dry indoor air can leave your extremities feeling flaky, rough, or cracked. From softening hair masques to oil treatments, there are a number of products that can prevent your hair from becoming a staticky, dry mess during the winter. You may need to deep-condition more often than you do during the summer, especially if you color your hair. If flyaways strike while you’re out and about, use a teensy bit of lotion or even lip balm to smooth your strands.
